Four mystery shoppers will walk your store. You will see every moment it stayed silent.
One signs up. One browses and leaves. One abandons a cart. One stops at payment. Each from its own inbox, then 48 hours of nothing from us. Whatever your store sends back, we log. Whatever it never sends, we log that too, put a number on it from your own products and prices, and email you the findings.

Built for Shopify brands, with Klaviyo or any other sending tool. See how PilotX works on Shopify.
Seven in ten storefronts we shop have a hole in them. Almost none of them are a badly written email.
Brands spend the quarter rewriting subject lines on flows they already have. The moments nobody built are the ones that pass in silence: browsed twice and left, a cart filled at 11pm, a delivery address typed and then nothing.
Welcome, browse, cart and checkout, each one from its own inbox.
The other 36 sent the wrong email, or none at all.
Those shoppers had already typed their delivery address.
59 days to Black Friday. Every shopper who walks into a gap between now and then was bought at Q4 prices.
Every finding names the inbox we watched and the 48 hours it stayed empty, so you can check the whole thing without talking to us.
Repeat revenue leaks in three places. See what yours is worth.
Ordinary moments that pass in silence because nobody had the hours. Each one has a number on it.
About £101k a month, from customers you have already paid to win. Close the gaps and the modelled ceiling is up to 50% more revenue at full capacity, counted only against a control group you set. PilotX is paid 10% of that extra, capped at $2,500 a month.
They buy once and never come back
69%of the leak, modelledThe first order barely covers what it cost to win them. The profit sits in the second and third, which cost you almost nothing. Miss the reorder window and you are back out buying the same person again through ads.
81% of DTC buyers never place a second order
Carts left at the last step
24%of the leak, modelledAbandonment itself is normal. The cost is that the shoppers who came closest to buying get one reminder an hour in, or nothing at all, and then silence for a week.
70.22% of carts are abandoned, averaged across 50 studies · Baymard Institute, September 2025
Browse and back in stock, unworked
7%of the leak, modelledSomeone views a product three times, or the thing they wanted comes back into stock. They are already thinking about you, and there are more of these each week than anyone can hand-build a flow for.
Dozens of these moments pass every week
Modelled on published benchmarks for a store with welcome and cart flows live and the rest unbuilt, with a fifth of revenue coming from email and SMS. Modelled, not measured. Put your own numbers in and the model runs the same way.
The Mystery Shopper Dossier, with your biggest leak at the top.
Plain language, on your store, biggest number at the top. Forward it to whoever runs your email and they will know what to do on Monday.
The mystery shop is free. Everything after it is your call.
Most people read the findings and fix them themselves. That costs you nothing, and it is a good outcome. What follows only happens if you ask for it.
Four mystery shoppers audit your store
Four autonomous mystery shoppers walk it, we write up every revenue leak, put a number on each one from your own products and prices, and email the dossier. Read it, fix it yourself, never reply. That is a perfectly good ending.
Costs nothing, and about a minute to ask.
Ten minutes on a call
We build the moment your store is missing, on your own products, prices and voice, and walk you through it. You have still not connected anything or paid anyone.
Ten minutes, if the write-up is worth talking about.
Fourteen days live
Connect Shopify, pick one goal, hold back a control group. The moments above start running on your real customers and you see what the difference is worth.
Two weeks, at 10% of the extra sales it adds.
Four agents on every single customer. One of them decides to say nothing.
Discovery learns the person, Decision picks the move, Delivery writes and sends it on your brand across email, SMS, push, WhatsApp, in-app, ads, support and pulse, and a Supervisor watches every outcome against your control group. Brand new, buying every month, quietly lapsing or your best account, they all get the same four. That is why these are different messages to different people on the same Tuesday, and why one of them is no message at all.
What goes instead
Ashford, 220gYou have come back to Ashford three times since you signed up. It is the smokier of the two, and it suits a room you actually sit in. Bramble is the lighter one if you would rather something brighter.
See them side by sideThe store you already sent us. Everything else builds itself.
No flows to draw, no segments to write. You connect Shopify once, and PilotX reads the rest off your own store.
Paste the address
One box, one button. Everything after this is built from what is already on your storefront.
What do you sell?
Your address is enough. We read the brand, the products and the audience from there.
Run a fortnight in a minute, on your own customers.
Pick a real customer record and watch the agents live the whole journey at speed against their actual history. Every message is diverted to a proxy inbox, so the person never receives anything while you are still making your mind up.

The things people check first.
How do your mystery shoppers walk my store without access?
Exactly like real customers. Our autonomous mystery shoppers browse the storefront from the outside using dedicated inboxes. You do not need to install an app, share Klaviyo credentials, or grant store access for the audit itself.
Will my customer list ever be touched?
Never. The mystery shoppers are isolated software sessions testing your live storefront. Your customer list is never accessed, contacted, or exported.
Is this a sales call in disguise?
The findings arrive by email. You can read them, act on them, and never reply. The ten minutes only happens if you ask for it.
I already use Klaviyo. Does that matter?
Not for this. The mystery shop shows what is firing today and what is not, whichever tool you send with. Klaviyo is never a requirement, and if you do run a pilot later PilotX works alongside it rather than replacing it.
Could it send something I would never say?
Every product name, price, image and link has to resolve against your live Shopify catalogue before anything goes, so it cannot invent an offer. You set the quiet hours and the frequency caps, and in Copilot you approve every message first.
What happens to my details?
They are used to mystery shop the store and send you the findings. We do not sell them or add you to a list you did not ask for.
Is it genuinely free?
Yes. No card, no trial, no obligation at the end of it.
